Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Let's Gather account and the personal data associated with it. You can delete your account yourself in the app, or ask us to do it by email — both paths lead to the same result, described in our Privacy Policy.

1. Delete your account in the app

Open Let's Gather and go to Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is confirmed immediately in the app — you don't need to contact anyone or give a reason.

2. Or request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, email [email protected] with the subject line "Delete my account". Send the request from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you signed up with, so we can verify it's you. We confirm every request and complete it within 30 days.

3. What gets deleted

Your profile, photos, RSVPs, event chats, and personal information are deleted or anonymized within 30 days of your request.
We keep only the minimum required to meet legal obligations or resolve open safety investigations — for example, safety reports are kept up to 2 years — and delete it when no longer needed. See how long we keep data.
Deletion is permanent. If you return to Let's Gather later, you'll start with a fresh account.

4. Deleting some data without closing your account

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove specific things. You can delete your own photos, messages, and optional profile fields directly in the app, or email [email protected] to request removal of specific content or data while keeping your account active.
